Unity in Diversity: Boom’s 2nd Anniversary Strengthens Solidarity for a Better Bandung Barat
Bandung Barat, Friday (13/02/2026) – In celebration of its 2nd Anniversary (Milangkala), Boom’s (Barisan Ormas, OKP, LSM, and Students) of Kabupaten Bandung Barat organized a gathering under the inspiring theme “Strengthening Unity and Solidarity through Silaturahmi Towards a Better Bandung Barat.” The event was held at the Kesbangpol Hall, 2nd Floor, Kabupaten Bandung Barat, and brought together various community elements along with representatives of the local government.
The gathering was part of Boom’s KBB’s 2nd Milangkala commemoration, serving as a platform to enhance communication, reinforce synergy, and reaffirm a shared commitment to maintaining unity and solidarity. The initiative reflects a collective aspiration to create a safer, more peaceful, and conducive Bandung Barat. The occasion also coincided with Valentine’s Day, symbolizing affection, harmony, and togetherness in building the region.
Strengthening Bonds for Regional Progress
Chairman of Boom’s KBB, Didin Suhendar, emphasized that the event aimed to strengthen ties of friendship and foster unity among various community components in Kabupaten Bandung Barat.
“Although we are currently facing challenging times, this event was successfully carried out thanks to the spirit of rereongan (mutual cooperation). We sincerely thank all colleagues and institutions who supported the success of this 2nd Milangkala celebration,” Didin stated.
He highlighted that silaturahmi is a vital foundation for building healthy communication and constructive collaboration to support the region’s future development. Didin also expressed hope that similar activities would continue annually on a larger and more festive scale. According to him, consistency in nurturing togetherness will solidify Boom’s position as a strategic partner of the government in regional development.
Government Appreciation and Support
The Regent of Kabupaten Bandung Barat, Jeje Ritchie Ismail, was unable to attend due to another official engagement and was represented by the Regent’s Expert Staff for Government Affairs, Drs. Meidi, M.Si. In his remarks, Meidi conveyed the Regent’s greetings and appreciation for Boom’s initiative in maintaining regional stability and fostering cross-sector collaboration.
“To improve public welfare, Boom’s is expected to continue working in synergy with the local government. We also hope Boom’s can actively contribute to maintaining security and comfort in the Bandung Barat that we all love,” Meidi said.
Through its 2nd Milangkala celebration, Boom’s KBB reaffirmed its commitment to remain a platform for public aspirations and a constructive partner to the government. The shared spirit of unity, collaboration, and mutual cooperation is expected to drive the realization of an accountable , prosperous, and harmonious Bandung Barat.
The event concluded with a joint prayer and a group photo session, symbolizing solidarity and a shared determination to build a better future for Bandung Barat.
