GUNUNGHALU SUB-DISTRICT MUSRENBANG:
ENHANCING REGIONAL ECONOMIC GROWTH AND COMPETITIVENESS FOR EQUITABLE COMMUNITY WELFARE

West Bandung – The Government of Gununghalu Sub-district, Gununghalu, held the Sub-district Development Planning Forum (Musrenbang) to formulate the 2027 Regional Government Work Plan (RKPD). The event took place at the Sirnajaya Village Hall on Wednesday (February 18, 2026).
In line with the theme, “Enhancing Regional Economic Growth and Competitiveness for Equitable Community Welfare,” the Musrenbang forum served as a platform for villages to directly convey their development needs and aspirations to the Government of West Bandung Regency.

The event was attended by the Sub-district Head along with members of the Sub-district Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimcam), village heads, Village Consultative Bodies (BPD), as well as representatives of institutions and stakeholders from all villages. Also present were the Deputy Chair of the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD), the Head of the Regional Development Planning, Research and Development Agency (Bapelitbangda), and representatives of all Regional Apparatus Organizations (SKPD) of West Bandung Regency.
In his remarks, Gununghalu Sub-district Head, Harri Mustika, expressed his appreciation for the enthusiasm and participation of all community elements in attending the Musrenbang at the sub-district level.

Harri Mustika explained that Musrenbang is an important momentum, as the planning process begins with deliberations at the village level, followed by evaluation during the pre-Musrenbang stage, and culminates in discussions at the sub-district Musrenbang.
“Alhamdulillah, today we have successfully conducted the Gununghalu Sub-district Musrenbang. The process started from collecting proposals at the village level, updating them during the pre-Musrenbang, and finalizing discussions at today’s sub-district Musrenbang. We hope this opportunity will be utilized as effectively as possible,” he stated.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chair of the West Bandung DPRD, Asep Dedi, reminded participants that the Musrenbang should not merely be treated as a ceremonial event, but rather as a meaningful and strategic forum that serves as a key reference for the Regional Government in managing governance and implementing development programs in 2027. Asep Dedi is a council member representing Electoral District 5 of West Bandung.
Various development aspirations and proposals emerged during the Musrenbang session. These proposals will serve as the basis for drafting the 2027 Regional Government Work Plan (RKPD) of West Bandung Regency.

Most proposals were still dominated by infrastructure projects, particularly those under the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office (PUTR). However, numerous proposals were also submitted in other sectors, especially in agriculture, livestock, and other areas oriented toward improving community welfare.
Through this Musrenbang, it is expected that development planning will result in priority programs that truly address community needs, encourage village economic growth, improve infrastructure quality in Gununghalu, and fulfill urgent needs in each village within the sub-district.
