West Bandung – The West Bandung Regency Government (KBB) has taken another strategic step to strengthen bureaucratic performance by inaugurating and administering the oath of office to 68 officials and civil servants (ASN) on Monday (April 27, 2026). The event was led directly by the Regent of West Bandung, Jeje Ritchie Ismail, as part of an effort to refresh the organizational structure and improve the quality of public services.
The inauguration covered various important positions within the West Bandung Regency Government. The details include 2 administrative officials, 17 functional officials, 26 civil servant candidates (CPNS) who were officially appointed as full civil servants (PNS), and 23 school principals who now take on new responsibilities in the education sector.
In the remarks, regional leaders emphasized that this inauguration was not merely ceremonial, but part of an ongoing process to strengthen a government structure that is adaptive, professional, and service-oriented.
The Deputy Regent of West Bandung, H. Asep Ismail, stated that the newly appointed officials must quickly adapt to their respective main duties and functions. He stressed the importance of full responsibility in carrying out the entrusted roles.
“Every individual inaugurated today has a strategic role in supporting the functioning of the government. There must be no gaps in function. Everyone must work optimally according to their respective fields,” he emphasized.
Furthermore, he conveyed a special message from the Regent regarding the importance of maintaining the stability of public services during the transition of positions. According to him, changes in the organizational structure must not affect the quality of services provided to the public.
“Public service is the top priority. This inauguration process must not disrupt service delivery. Officials are expected to immediately coordinate internally so that work programs continue to run smoothly without obstacles,” he said.
This inauguration is expected to serve as a starting point for improving bureaucratic performance in West Bandung Regency, especially in facing increasingly complex development challenges. In addition, the presence of new school principals is expected to help improve the quality of education in the region.
The event concluded with congratulations extended to all newly appointed officials and civil servants. The atmosphere was solemn yet optimistic, reflecting high hopes for the performance of these officials in delivering the best possible public service.
